BHEL has released 400 vacancies, divided into:
- Engineer Trainee – 150 posts (Bachelor’s in Engineering/Technology)
- Supervisor Trainee – 250 posts (Diploma in Engineering)
These vacancies are available in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Electronics, Chemical, and Metallurgy disciplines.
BHEL Recruitment 2025 Eligibility Criteria
- Engineer Trainee: A full-time Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/Technology or a 5-year Integrated Master’s Degree.
- Supervisor Trainee: A Diploma in Engineering with at least 65% marks (60% for SC/ST candidates).
- Age Limit: Maximum 27 years (29 years for postgraduates). Age relaxation applies for SC/ST, OBC, and PwD categories.
Selection Process
- Engineer Trainee: Computer-Based Examination (CBE) + Personal Interview. The final selection is based on 75% CBE + 25% Interview weightage.
- Supervisor Trainee: Computer-Based Examination (CBE) + Document Verification.
Salary and Training
- Engineer Trainee: ₹50,000 per month during training, increasing to ₹60,000–₹1,80,000 post-training.
- Supervisor Trainee: ₹32,000 per month during training, increasing to ₹33,500–₹1,20,000 post-training.
Both positions require signing a service bond: ₹5,00,000 for Engineer Trainees and ₹3,00,000 for Supervisor Trainees.

- UR/EWS/OBC: ₹1072 (₹600 exam fee + ₹400 processing fee + GST).
- SC/ST/PwD/Ex-Servicemen: ₹472 (₹400 processing fee + GST).
